The DMAT team provided medical care to patients in clinics, an ER where over 600 operations were performed and 20 babies were delivered while also reaching out to the many people in surrounding neighbourhoods of Tacloban and Carigara. Angie says that it will take years for the hard-hit areas to recover and she asks that Americans keep the Filipinos in their thoughts and prayers. Angie is serving with Team Rubicon.   In the wake of the devastation wrought by Typhoon Haiyan, Angie travels with Team Rubicon and life-saving equipment to the hardest hit area of Taclobon. Angie was chosen by Team Rubicon to fly to the Philippines on November 17th for ten days. She will be part of their Medical Team.
